Cathy Henry

Catherine A. Henry is a CPA who has worked in industry and public accounting since 1984. She has worked for Rockwell International, Deloitte & Touche, and Grant Thornton. Over the years, she has worked with William Hesch at Deloitte & Touche from 1989-1991 and again at William E. Hesch CPAs, LLC from 1995-2001. After taking time off to raise her children, Cathy returned to William E. Hesch CPAs in July, 2014.
Cathy received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting in 1984 and her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Tax in 1989 from Xavier University. Cathy is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and The Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA). She serves on the Board of Directors of Care Net Pregnancy Services of Northern Kentucky and is a volunteer at the Madonna House of Northern Kentucky. Carrie Carroll

Carrie A. Carroll has worked in public accounting since 1979. Carrie received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati. Carrie Carroll is dedicated to helping small Business owners and individuals through the confusing tax laws. She has worked for Bill Hesch since 1993. Tom Goodwin

Thomas L. Goodwin has worked in industry and public accounting since 1995. Tom has experience with a mid-size CPA firm in Chicago and corporate controller for real estate developer in Naples, FL. Tom has worked in Cincinnati with local CPA firms since 2010. Tom received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Michigan. Tom is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and The Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA). Tom has a Series 7, Series 66 and Life Health Insurance licenses. Kathryn E. Buerger, Esq.

Kathryn is licensed to practice law in Ohio. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1997. She received her BBA from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati.

Kathryn focuses on Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning, Probate and general Elder Law issues. Prior to joining William E. Hesch Law Firm LLC, she practiced with another area Elder Law firm. Kathryn also practiced with Pro Seniors Inc., for eleven years, counseling Ohio seniors on various legal issues – Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, probate, estate planning, Powers of Attorney, guardianship, consumer law issues, landlord tenant law and foreclosure issues. Kathryn served as an Equal Justice Works and AmeriCorps Fellow through Pro Seniors, Inc.

Aside from Elder Law, Kathryn has a wide legal resume in her twenty-five years of law practice. She served as a Law Clerk for Hamilton County Common Pleas Court, the Honorable Ann Marie Tracey. She was a Hamilton County Prosecutor handling various juvenile felony and misdemeanor cases, municipal court cases (DUI’s, assaults, traffic violations, etc.) and child support matters. Kathryn also has extensive foreclosure experience, representing both creditors and homeowners.

Kathryn serves as the Secretary of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Elder and Special Needs Law Committee. She has also served as the fundraising chair and Secretary of the Beverly Cottages Parent Group (Godfrey, Illinois) for the past 17 years. This group provides funding for the needs of severely developmentally disabled individuals. She is also currently serving as a board member of the Groves B. Smith Guardianship Corporation (Godfrey, Illinois). Kathryn is a member of the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce. Kathryn has also been actively involved as a volunteer in her children’s activities in the Forest Hills School District.

Thomas R. Schutzman

Thomas R. Schutzman is an Ohio licensed attorney who focuses his practice on estate planning, asset
protection planning, probate administration and guardianships. Thomas works with clients in all aspects
of estate planning by implementing wills and trusts. He also assists clients with probate administration
and contested and non-contested guardianships. He works with individuals and families to create and
implement a plan to achieve their unique goals.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and his law degree from the
University of Dayton. He currently resides in Northern Kentucky with his wife, Emily, and their three
daughters. He is an active parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Church.
