Can asset protection work if I am currently in litigation?

Question: Can asset protection work if I am currently in litigation?

Answer: Typically, asset protection cannot work if you are currently in litigation. In Ohio there are fraudulent conveyance statutes that would pull that asset that you tried to transfer back into you creditors hands if they find out that you tried to make a transfer while the lawsuit is being litigated and in anticipation of that judgment that would come out of that lawsuit.
