Does an executor (personal representative) need to hire an attorney?

Question: Does an executor (personal representative) need to hire an attorney?

Answer: An executor is not required to hire an attorney, but it’s highly recommended that the executor work with an attorney in order to make sure that all of the legal forms are filed properly with the probate court and that all of the deadlines that are required under Ohio law are met on a timely basis.
