I made a will twenty years ago when my children were small. Do I need to change it now?

Question: I made a will twenty years ago when my children were small. Do I need to change it now?

Answer: Yes, I think you should look at revising your will and updating it. You may need to review who the executors are in your estate. A good example is now that your children are adult children if you are married you might have the surviving spouse be the executor, but now you may want to appoint your adult children as the executor of your estate in the event that your spouse is unable to serve in that capacity.
