What is the attorney's role in the estate planning process?

Question: What is the attorney's role in the estate planning process?

Answer: I think the attorney’s role in the estate planning process is the quarterback. I believe that when you are doing the estate plan you have the legal issues that need to be provided for in the documents, but also I feel that you are trying to do the financial planning for your family and your heirs so make sure that they are financially secure if someone dies or passes away or is disabled and so the estate plan needs the coordinated effort of your attorney, your CPA, your financial planner and your investment advisor.
