Will I still have control over my property if I have a revocable living trust?

Question: Will I still have control over my property if I have a revocable living trust?

Answer: If you have a revocable living trust you will still have control over your property. A lot of times clients do not fund the living trust so that they keep all of their assets in their name and they don’t lose any control at all. Typically when we set up a revocable living trust the grantor or the person who sets it up is the trustee and so they retain control of any assets they transfer into the trust during their lifetime so they keep complete control over their property during their lifetime.
